FAQ

Is AniView free to use?

Yes. Every episode on this site is completely free to watch, with no account, sign-up, or subscription required.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can browse, search, and watch without signing up for anything.

What's the difference between Sub and Dub?

Sub means the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. Dub means the audio has been re-recorded in English. Where both are available for a series, you can switch between them from the episode player.

A video isn't loading or keeps buffering. What do I do?

Try switching to a different server using the server buttons above the player — most episodes have more than one source. If it's still not working, refreshing the page or trying a different browser usually helps. If a link is completely broken, please let us know through the Contact page so we can fix it.

Can I request an anime that isn't on the site yet?

Yes — use the Request page and let us know what you're looking for. We add new titles regularly based on requests.

Why do I see ads or pop-ups?

Ads help keep AniView free for everyone. We know pop-ups can be annoying — using a browser pop-up/ad blocker will cut most of them out while you watch.

Does AniView host the videos itself?

No. AniView does not upload or store any video files. All episodes are embedded from third-party hosting providers. See our About page and DMCA page for more detail.

Can I watch on my phone?

Yes, the site works on mobile browsers as well as desktop — no app required.

How often are new episodes added?

New episodes for ongoing series are added as they're released. Check the Ongoing page to see what's currently airing.

If you enjoy the website, please consider sharing it with your friends. Thank you!
