DMCA

AniView respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains our policy for handling claims of copyright infringement.

We do not host content

AniView does not upload, store, or host any video files on its own servers. All videos available through this site are embedded from third-party hosting providers and platforms not affiliated with AniView. We do not control the content hosted on those third-party services.

Filing a takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that content accessible through this site infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice requesting removal. To be effective, your notice must include the following, in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)):

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (a direct URL is best).
  • Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and an email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Please send takedown notices to: [your DMCA contact email]

What happens after a valid notice

Since AniView does not host the underlying video files, our response to a valid notice is typically to remove or disable the specific link/embed pointing to the reported content on this site. We may also forward the notice to the third-party host where the content is actually stored, where applicable.

Counter-notification

If you believe content was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address above, including your name, contact information, identification of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.

Repeat infringers

We reserve the right to remove links to content and to restrict access for users or sources associated with repeated, verified infringement claims.
